At AgeRight, we offer a supportive, age-positive fitness studio designed for adults 50 and over. Our welcoming environment focuses on safe, effective movement and expert-led programming that respects your body’s needs. From personalized training to group classes, we help you build strength, confidence and community — one step at a time.

AgeRight is proud to be Newfoundland’s only Certified Older Adult Training Facility recognized by the Institute for Clinical Excellence for specialized expertise in the health, fitness, and wellness of older adults.

Our Trainers

  • Shane Monahan | Owner & Coach

    Certified via NASM in Corrective Exercise (CES) and Nutrition (PN1) and via ICE in Older Adult Fitness, Shane brings 20+ years of experience helping clients live stronger, more energized lives.

  • Steven Hendriks | Kinesiologist & Exercise Physiologist

    Certified through CSEP, Steven offers evidence-based personal training, corrective exercise, and rehab services with a focus on functional movement.

  • Jon Stroud | Personal Trainer

    An ISSA-certified trainer and martial arts coach, Jon motivates clients to push their limits safely while building lasting strength.

  • Kyleigh Gear | Kinesiologist & Coach

    A 2025 graduate of Memorial University’s kinesiology program, Kyleigh brings hands-on experience in injury rehabilitation and exercise prescription for seniors and special populations. A lifelong athlete, she blends science-based training with real-world experience to help clients move better and feel stronger.

  • Claire Miller | Movement Educator

    A teacher for more than 30 years, Claire uses Pilates and Yoga Tune Up® to promote mindful, pain-free movement through posture-focused programming.

  • Pam Martin-McDonald | Holistic Health Coach

    As a certified Holistic Health Practitioner and yoga instructor, Pam focuses on stress reduction, nervous system regulation and total body wellness.

  • Barbara Murphy | Yoga Instructor

    A longtime yoga practitioner and a certified yoga instructor since 2019, Barbara blends alignment-based movement with mindfulness to create an inclusive, balanced practice for all levels. Grounded and compassionate, she guides students toward strength, balance, and self-discovery both on and off the mat.
